As one of the oldest social and charitable organisations in the world, we have a thriving community of approximately 175,000 members throughout England and Wales, as well as Districts overseas. The later start of the Metropolitan Grand Chapter meeting meant that those attending had a chance to meet up with friends and enjoy the bright sunny day which greeted them as they arrived at Freemasons’ Hall. Those who needed to collect new regalia had done so and the crimson and blue colours were resplendent as the assembled Companions awaited the arrival of the Metropolitan Grand Superintendent, E Comp Warren Duke, into the Grand Temple.
